Auryn Quest is an exciting arcade-style adventure game inspired by the well known and well loved novel by Michael Ende: "The Neverending Story." Played in 1st person perspective, the 3D real-time technology used to play the game allows the player total navigational freedom.
Assume the role of the hero, Atreyu, on a quest to save the world of Fantasia from destruction.
Start your quest at the Temple of a Thousand Doors, and enter into six graphically beautiful and richly detailed surrealistic worlds, with many challenges and thrilling arcade sequences. Find and return the magical and mystical Auryn to the Childlike Empress, Fantasia┤s ruler. Once this is accomplished, Fantasia will reflourish to new beauty and to the magnificence of how it once was.

Please note the following:
For Windows« 2000 / XP: If you are using Windows« 2000 or XP then you must have administrator rights to install the game. Otherwise, Windows« will not allow you to install the game.
You must have DirectX« 8.0 installed on your computer to run Auryn Quest. If you do not have version DirectX« 8.0 or later installed on your computer, you may install DirectX« 8.0 from the files available on the root level of the Auryn Quest CD.
The Set Up Screen
After installation, when you first launch the demo, you will see the Set-Up screen. Here you may select your Resolution and Texture Quality from the pull down menus beside each option.
Select Start to begin the game.
General Gameplay Instructions
After the introductory movie, you begin the adventure of Auryn Quest in The Temple of a Thousand Doors. This Temple is where the portals are located for each world. Only one world is available to you in this demo: GayaÆs Laval Dungeon.
Approach the entrance of a portal. If you may enter this world, you will be allowed to reach the glowing spiral teleporters. If you are not yet allowed entrance to that world, you will see a large red X.
PRESS F12 TO REVERSE THE MOUSE MOVEMENT (OFTEN EASIER TO CONTROL)
